Meet the Band

Repiano Cornet - Connie Natrass

Connie grew up playing the trumpet and first discovered the wonderful world of brass banding while at university in York where she played cornet in the Shepherd Group Brass Band (formally the Rowntree factory band). 

She temporarily stopped playing when she moved to London until she came across Enfield and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. Shelikes playing most band music apart from medley arrangements of popular favourites (a missed opportunity to play something better!)

Connie’s band tip is “waggle fingers; ‘ope f‘ best.”

Connie lives in North London, works as a hydrogeologist for Thames Water, is trying (without a massive amount of success) to learn Spanish and enjoys a pint or two.
