Meet the Band

1st Baritone - Mary Smith

Mary has always lived in Enfield and learned to read music at school.

She sang in choirs, played the "dreaded recorder" at many concerts and learned to play the piano, similar to Les Dawson (her words).

She learned to play the Baritone and joined the then Co- Op Band in 1997 as 1st Baritone player.

Mary works in a library and became Band Librarian in 2003.

The biggest highlight for her was winning the 2004 National 4th Section Championships in Harrogate.
