Meet the Band

Colin Hills - EEb / BBb (dep)

From the age of 15 Colin have played a tuba, mainly Bb bass in the school band where he did his musical grades.

When Colin left school he joined his first brass band which was Welwyn Garden City Band where he was introduced to then joys of contesting and home practising!

He has played with many bands over the years Milton Keynes brass, St Albans band, Aveley&newham, and Regent brass who in 1988 won the third section championship finals in London

Colin is a a good friend and regular dep for the Enfield band but sadly his work commitments have prevented him from being a regular attendee at Enfield rehearsals.

This is a shame as he does enjoy the rehearsals (his words).
